Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 21 years (as of 04.10.2024)
- Maximum: 60 years (Date of Superannuation as per the candidate’s date of birth)
Educational Qualifications:
- For Engineering/Technology Disciplines:
- Ph.D. in the relevant field.
- First Class or equivalent at the Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
- A minimum of 6 research publications in SCI/UGC/AICTE approved journals.
- At least 8 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, with a minimum of 2 years post-Ph.D. experience.
- A total research score of 75 (as per UGC Regulations).
- For Workshop Superintendent:
- Qualifications similar to those required for Associate Professors in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
Selection Process
The selection process for the post of Associate Professor includes the following steps:
- Shortlisting:
- Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview in a ratio of 1:4 based on their research score (as per the criteria given in Appendix-II, Table-2 of UGC Regulations).
- Interview:

- Total Marks: 100
- Qualifying Marks: 50 out of 100
