The Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has revised the eligibility criteria and extended the last date for online registration and submission of applications for the recruitment of Multipurpose Health Worker (Female)-2023 posts. check previous notifications.
Key Updates
- District Limitations Removed: The OSSSC has eliminated Clauses 1(ii), 3(A)(vi), and 7(iv) from Advertisement No. IIE-04/2023-585 (C)/OSSSC, dated 29.04.2023. Additionally, the initial sentence of Clause 11, which previously stipulated district-wise preparation of the Provisional Merit List and Select List, has been expunged. Consequently, candidates are now eligible to apply for vacancies anywhere in Odisha, regardless of their district of origin.
- Extended Registration Window: Candidates who couldn’t register or submit their applications online earlier now have the opportunity to do so, regardless of their place of birth or current residence.
- No Employment Exchange Registration Required: Candidates are no longer obligated to register their names with any employment exchange in their respective districts.
- Revised Merit List Preparation: The OSSSC will now create a provisional single Merit List based on merit. The Select List will be determined by merit and candidates’ preferences, which will be considered at a later stage. Detailed guidelines on this process will be provided in due course.
New eligibility criteria
- All candidates are eligible for the vacancies of the post for the whole state of Odisha irrespective of the districts to which the candidates may belong to.
- The candidates who could not register/submit online application earlier are now allowed for registration/re-registration and submission of application irrespective of their place of birth or residence.
- There is no need for a candidate to register her name in any employment exchange in the district concerned.
Revised Important Dates
- Online Registration/Re-registration: 11th October 2023 to 23rd October 2023
- Submission of Online Application: 11th October 2023 to 25th October 2023
Those candidates who had already submitted their online Application earlier, are not required to apply again. All other terms and conditions of the aforesaid Commission’s Advertisement remain unaltered.
