Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have one of the following qualifications:
- 10th Pass (Matric) + ITI Certificate in relevant trade, OR
- 10th Pass with Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering, OR
- BE/B.Tech Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering from a recognized institution.
Age Limit (As on 01 July 2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
- Age relaxation applicable as per government rules.

Selection Process
The RRB ALP 2025 selection process will consist of the following stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT 1) – Objective-type questions.
- Computer Based Test (CBT 2) – Technical and General sections.
- Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) – For shortlisted candidates.
- Document Verification (DV) – For qualified candidates.
- Medical Examination (ME) – Final stage for fitness clearance.
Note: There is negative marking of 1/3 mark for each wrong answer in CBTs.
