Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
For Science Subjects:
- Passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and English with minimum 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.
- OR Three-year Diploma in Engineering with minimum 50% marks.
- OR Two-year Vocational Course with Physics and Mathematics with required percentage.
For Other Than Science Subjects:
- Passed 10+2 in any stream with minimum 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
- OR Two-year Vocational Course with required percentage.
Age Limit
- Born between 01/01/2006 and 01/07/2009 (both dates inclusive).
- Maximum age at enrolment should not exceed 21 years.

General Information / Instructions
Candidates must carefully read all instructions before applying for IAF Agniveervayu Intake 01/2027. Important guidelines are given below:
- Marital Status: Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible. Marriage during the four-year engagement period is not permitted and will lead to discharge.
- Pregnancy Policy (Female Candidates): Female candidates must not become pregnant during the engagement period. If found pregnant, the candidate will be discharged from service.
- Engagement Period: The service period is four years under the Air Force Act, 1950.
- Regular Cadre Opportunity: Up to 25% of each batch may be enrolled in the regular Air Force cadre based on performance and service requirements.
- Body Tattoo Policy: Permanent tattoos are not allowed except on the inner forearms or as per tribal customs. Offensive tattoos are strictly prohibited.
- NDPS Policy: Use of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances is strictly prohibited and will lead to rejection.
- Identification Proof: Aadhaar Card is mandatory for registration (except candidates from notified regions as per rules).
- Examination Centres: Candidates can select five exam centre choices. However, the authority reserves the right to allot any centre.
- No TA/DA: No travel or daily allowance will be provided for any stage of selection.
- Electronic Devices: Mobile phones, smart watches, or any electronic devices are not allowed in the examination centre. Violation will result in permanent debarment.
- Malpractice: Candidates found using unfair means will be permanently disqualified.
