Position: Field Investigator
Number of Positions: 03 (Three)
Project: ICSSR Research Project entitled “Employment Generation and Tribal Livelihood through Sabai Grass: A Study on Strengthening Backward and Forwarding Linkages in Mayurbhanj District of Odisha”
Project Duration: Six Months
Responsibilities
- Prepare questionnaires for primary data collection.
- Collect primary and secondary data.
- Visit the field area for data collection.
- Analyze data (both secondary and primary) using software such as SPSS and STATA.
- Write project reports and other project-related documents.
Location: Department of Economics, Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University, Baripada, Mayurbhanj, Odisha.
Requirements
- Post Graduate degree in Economics with a minimum of 55%.
- Good understanding of issues related to Backward and Forward Linkages of Sabai Grass.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience in report writing and data analysis.
Remuneration: Salary will be commensurate with ICSSR norms.
