Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
For Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist / Junior Typist / Stenographer Grade-III:
- +3 Examination (Bachelor’s degree) or equivalent from a recognized University.
- Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institute.
- Must have passed Odia language test equivalent to M.E. Standard.
- Typing Speed:
- Junior Typist: 40 WPM (Computer-based).
- Stenographer Grade-III: 80 WPM in Shorthand & 40 WPM in Typewriting.
For Salaried Amin:
- Passed Matriculation or equivalent.
- Revenue Inspector Training certification.
- Also requires DCA, Odia language certification, and general eligibility conditions.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 32 years (as of 18.06.2025)
- Relaxations applicable for SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-Servicemen/PwDs as per Govt. norms.
Selection Process
The selection involves multiple stages depending on the post:
- Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist:
- Phase I: Written Exam (English, Arithmetic, General Knowledge)
- Phase II: Computer Practical
- Phase III: Viva Voce
- Junior Typist & Stenographer Grade-III:
- Phase I: Written English Test
- Phase II: Typewriting/Shorthand Tests
- Phase III: Computer Practical

- Salaried Amin:
- Phase I: Written Test (English, Arithmetic, GK, Odia, Computer)
- Phase II: Practical Computer Test
Only candidates qualified in earlier phases proceed to the next. Final merit is based on overall performance and document verification.
