Eligibility Criteria
Qualifications:
- Assistant Conservator: Master’s degree in Chemistry/Conservation/Conservation of Cultural Properties/Fine Arts with basic computer skills.
- Research Assistant: Master’s degree in Anthropology, Tribal Studies, Sociology, Social Work, Applied Economics, or Statistics with knowledge of computer applications.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years, Maximum 38 years (Age relaxations for eligible categories)
Examination Details
Stage – I: Preliminary Examination (150 marks, 150 questions): – Details about the type of questions, mode of examination, duration, etc., will be shared on the website through Notice.
Stage – II: Main Written Examination: – Technical paper(s) – 200 Marks. Different papers for different posts. Details will be shared on the website.
Note: Computer Skill Test required for Assistant Conservator. Qualifying marks – 50%.
Stage – III: Certificate Verification: – Candidates (2 times the vacancies) shortlisted based on Main Written Examination marks.
Note:
- Preliminary and Main Examination may use OMR or CBRE (Computer Based Recruitment Examination) Mode.
- Negative marking for wrong answers: 0.25 marks for each one-mark question.
