Eligibility Criteria

Age Limits:

• Minimum age limit: 21 years.
• Maximum age limit: 38 years as of January 1, 2024 (born between January 2, 1986, and January 1, 2003).
• Relaxation of 5 years for candidates from SC, ST, SEBC, Women, and Ex-Servicemen categories.
• Relaxation of 10 years for candidates with a disability (permanent) of 40% and more in the PwD categories.

Education Qualification:

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
• Two school subjects from a recognized university are mandatory, with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for specified categories) in aggregate.
• A Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) or Three-years integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from an NCTE recognized institution is required.
• Alternatively, candidates can qualify with a Four-years Integrated B.A. B.Ed., provided they meet the specified marks criteria.
• Must have passed Odisha Secondary School Teacher Etigibitity Test (OSSTET).
• Candidates who have applied for OSSTET-2023 may apply.
