- Mains Qualified: Candidates who clear the mains exam proceed to a face-to-face interview worth 100 marks, with 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) as the minimum qualifying mark.
- Interview Round: The interview typically lasts 15-20 minutes, where a panel of bank officials assess candidates on various topics like themselves, banking sector, current affairs, and general awareness. Dressing well, confidence, and carrying necessary documents are essential.
- Final Merit List: IBPS calculates the final score by giving 80% weightage to the main examination and 20% to the interview, determining the candidates’ ranking for selection.
