ICAR-NRRI Invites Applications for SRF AFO and Young Professional

ICAR NRRI Recruitment 2024: The ICAR-National Rice Research Institute (NRRI) in Cuttack has recently announced the recruitment of one Senior Research Fellow (SRF), one Agricultural Field Operator (AFO), and one Young Professional-I position under the “Identification and characterization of fungal effectors and host factors in rice-false smut pathosystem ” (EAP-382) with a total of three positions available on a temporary basis.

Terms & Conditions

1. Temporary Position:
   • The advertised positions are purely temporary and will terminate upon the conclusion of the associated scheme/project or the period specified in the selection offer, whichever is earlier.
   • Candidates will have no right to absorption in NRRI/ICAR after the project’s completion.
   • Age limits are relaxable for SC, ST, and OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms.
2. Interview Requirements:
   • Eligible and interested candidates should bring one recent passport-size photograph, original educational certificates (from matriculation onwards), Xerox copies, and relevant experience certificates (as per the advertisement).
   • The walk-in interview will consist of a written-cum-personal interview on the specified date, time, and place.
3. Positions and Recruitment:
   • The Director of NRRI reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions or cancel the recruitment process altogether.
   • The Director’s decision will be final and binding in all aspects.
4. No TA/DA:
   • No Travel Allowance (TA) or Dearness Allowance (DA) will be provided for attending the interview.
5. Disqualification:
   • Any form of canvassing will disqualify the candidate from the position.
6. No Objection Certificate:
   • If currently employed, candidates must furnish a no-objection certificate from their current employer to appear in the interview.
7. Punctuality:
   • No candidate will be entertained after the scheduled interview time as mentioned for each position.
