Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- A graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution approved by the Government of India or equivalent recognized by the Central Government.
Age Limit (As on 1st May 2025)
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Relaxations:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- PwD: 10 years
- Victims of 1984 riots: 5 years
Selection Process
The selection process for IOB Local Bank Officer includes three phases:
- Online Written Examination – Objective type, covering Reasoning, English, Quantitative & Banking Awareness (200 marks).
- Language Proficiency Test (LPT) – To assess ability to read, write, and speak the local language (if not studied in 10th/12th).
