OTET Exam 2023: The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, has announced the date for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2022 (2nd) for both Paper-I and Paper-II candidates. The examination is set to take place on June 23rd, 2023, with two separate sittings.
According to the official notification, the timings for the respective papers are as follows:
- Paper-I: 8:00 am to 10:30 am
- Paper-II: 12:00 noon to 02:30 pm
Candidates who have successfully submitted their applications, whether online or offline, will be able to download their admit cards from the official website, www.bseodisha.ac.in, starting from June 17th, 2023. It is important to note that examination centers will be assigned across the state and will not be based on the candidate’s permanent or correspondence district, unlike previous examinations. Requests for a change in examination centers will not be entertained.
Admit cards are generated based on the information provided by the candidates during the registration process. If at any point, the provided information is found to be false or fake, the candidate’s candidature and results will be canceled, and legal action may be taken against them as per the rules. It is emphasized that personal data, address, caste, and subject-related information provided during registration cannot be modified at a later stage.
Physically handicapped (PH) candidates who are unable to read and write are required to report to the concerned Centre Superintendent three days before the examination commences. They should bring all the necessary original supporting documents to seek assistance from a writer. The Centre Superintendent, in consultation with the District Education Officer, will arrange for a writer preferably from a nearby institution.
The Secretary of the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, signed the notification, urging all candidates to comply with the guidelines and prepare accordingly.
