The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released a notice regarding the upcoming written examination for the recruitment of Assistant Conservator of Forests (Group-A) and Forest Rangers (Group-B). The examination, in accordance with Advertisement No. 08 of 2023-24, is scheduled to take place from June 25th to July 4th, 2024, across five zones including Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and Sambalpur.
The examination timetable is as follows:
Forenoon Session (9:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon)
- June 25, 2024: General English
- June 26, 2024: Agriculture Paper-I
- June 27, 2024: Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry Paper-I, Chemistry Paper-I
- June 28, 2024: Botany Paper-I
- June 29, 2024: Forestry Paper-I
- June 30, 2024: Zoology Paper-I
- July 01, 2024: Physics Paper-II
- July 02, 2024: Geology Paper-II
- July 03, 2024: Agricultural Engineering Paper-II, Chemical Engineering Paper-II, Civil Engineering Paper-II, Mechanical Engineering Paper-II, Mathematics Paper-II, Statistics Paper-II

Candidates can access the list of candidates and their roll numbers on the Commission’s website. The candidates are instructed to download their “Admission Certificate” and “Instruction to Candidates” from the Commission’s website at http://opsc.gov.in starting from June 19, 2024, onwards.
