Eligibility Criteria
Age: Must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above 38 years as of January 1, 2023.
Educational Qualification: Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) or equivalent from a recognized University or Institution, and must have registered under the Odisha State Council of Ayurvedic Medicines.
Salary
Ayurvedic Medical Officers in the rank of Group-B under Health & Family Welfare Department in the Scale of Pay of Rupees 44900/- in Level 10, Cell 1 of the pay matrix as per ORSP Rules, 2017.
Selection Process
- Selection based on written test.
- Two papers, each carrying 100 marks with 1.5 hours duration.
- Objective type questions with no negative marking.
- Syllabus based on BAMS curriculum.
- Merit list to be prepared based on written test marks.
- Equal marks candidates ranked based on BAMS exam marks and age.
- Qualifying marks 50% for UR & SEBC, 45% for PH, and 40% for ST & SC.
