Eligibility Criteria

Education:

Candidates must have possessed a Diploma in Engineering or an equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by the Odisha Council of Technical Education & Vocational Training.

Age Limit:

  • Candidates must be between 21 and 38 years of age as of 01/01/2024.

    • Remarks:
      • Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
      • Minimum qualifying marks determined by the Commission for shortlisting candidates for the Main Written Examination.
      • Different minimum qualifying marks may be set for various categories of candidates.
  2. Main Written Examination:
    • Type of Examination: Technical Paper
    • Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes)
    • Number of Papers & Marks: One technical paper with a total of 200 marks
    • Remarks:
      • Minimum of five times the number of vacancies shortlisted for the Main Written Examination.
      • Candidates numbering 1.5 times the vacancies advertised were shortlisted for Certificate Verification.
      • Different minimum qualifying marks may be set for various services/posts and categories of candidates.
  3. Certificate Verification:
    • Remarks:
      • Candidates absent during certificate verification will have their candidature canceled.
      • No request for changing the date of certificate verification will be entertained.
