Retired Govt Servants Invited to Apply for Vacant Posts in OSSSC, Bhubaneswar

The Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has invited applications from retired government servants of Odisha, preferably from the Odisha Secretariat cadre or Heads of Department cadre, within 65 years of age, to fill up the following vacant posts by re-engagement.

The re-engagement will be made for one year or until the vacancies are filled up on a regular basis, whichever is earlier. The selected candidates will receive consolidated remuneration as admissible in FDOM No.24533/F dt.29.09.2022.

Terms and conditions for the re-engagement of retired employees

1. The selected candidates will receive Consolidated Remuneration without any other allowances as per suitability and applicability.
2. They shall continue to receive their pension and T.I. as usual.
3. The retired employees should not have any pending vigilance case or disciplinary proceedings against them.
4. Applicants should be within 65 years of age.
5. They should have good service records and be physically fit for the service.
6. Applicants must submit their duly filled application in the prescribed form, along with a self-attested front page of their Service Book/ PPO, by Registered Post/Speed Post to the Secretary, Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission, Block No.3&5, Unit-l, Bhubaneswar, Odisha-751009 on or before 05/04/2023.
7. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview by a general notice to be published on the Commission’s website: www.osssc.gov.in.
8. The re-engagement shall be made initially for a period of one year or until the vacancies are filled up by regular process, whichever is earlier.
9. The engagement can be terminated at any time by the competent authority due to unsatisfactory performance.
10. The vacancy position may be increased or decreased as per the discretion of the Commission.
11. The Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without assigning any reasons thereof.
