Eligibility Criteria
This examination is strictly for departmental candidates. General public candidates are not eligible.
Service Eligibility (Post-wise)
- Central Secretariat Stenographers Service (CSSS)
Minimum 6 years of approved service as Stenographer Grade D. - Indian Foreign Service (Branch B)
Minimum 6 years of approved service and successful completion of prescribed training. - Armed Forces Headquarters Stenographers Service
Minimum 3 years of continuous service in Grade D and 2 years in the competitive grade. Deputation candidates holding lien are also eligible. - Railway Board Secretariat Stenographers Service
Minimum 6 years of approved service as Stenographer Grade D. - Election Commission of India Stenographers Service
Minimum 3 years in Grade D and 2 years of continuous approved service. - Central Vigilance Commission
Minimum 5 years of regular service as Stenographer Grade D.
Age Limit
