Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess a Full-Time Regular Three-Year Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline from a recognized technical board/institute.- Minimum Marks: 70% marks for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates; pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
- Age Limit:
Maximum age limit is 27 years as of the last date of application. Age relaxation applies as per government norms.

Selection Process
For the recruitment of Trainee Supervisor (Electrical), the selection process will consist of a Written Test/Computer Based Test (CBT) with 100% weightage. Below are the detailed stages of the process:
- Written Test / Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Admit Card: Candidates must download their admit card from the application portal. Admit cards will not be sent by post.
- Test Duration: 2 hours (PwD candidates will get extra time as per Government of India guidelines).
- Test Structure:
The test will be of objective type with a total of 170 questions divided into two parts:- Part-I: 120 questions from the respective Technical Knowledge Test (TKT) discipline.
- Part-II: 50 questions from the Aptitude Test (AT), which will cover:
- Vocabulary
- Verbal Comprehension
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Reasoning Ability
- Data Sufficiency and Interpretation
- Numerical Ability
- Scoring:
- Each question carries 1 mark.
- There is a negative marking of ¼ for incorrect or multiple answers.
- Qualifying Criteria:

Candidates who qualify in the CBT will be empaneled in order of merit based on their scores in the written test/CBT (100% weightage). Those who qualify as per the detailed advertisement will be called for further selection stages based on the number of vacancies in a specific ratio. Candidates with earlier birthdates will be ranked higher in case of a tie. - Offer of Appointment & Pre-Employment Medical Examination:
Appointment offers will be made to candidates in the order of merit, subject to them passing a pre-employment medical examination as per POWERGRID Norms and Standards of Medical Fitness.
