Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 21 to 38 years of age as of January 1, 2024. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.
Educational Qualification
Graduation with Odia as Honours subject or Graduation with English as Honours subject and Odia as Pass or compulsory subject or post-graduation in Odia subject and Graduation in Law from a recognized University.

Place of Examination
The written examination will be held at Cuttack/Bhubaneswar depending on the number of candidates. The schedule will be notified in advance.
Method of Selection
- Written Examination (Subjective type) – 300 marks
- Viva-Voce test – 40 marks
Written Examination:
Consists of two papers:
- Paper-I: Translation and Essays
- Paper-II: Legal topics
Viva Voce Test:
40 marks covering questions from Prashasan Sabdakosha published by Odia Bhasa Pratisthan.
