Eligibility Criteria
Age: A candidate must be above 21 years of age and below 32 (age as on 14.05.2024). Age Relaxation Applicable.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or other equivalent qualification. Knowledge of computer applications is necessary.

Selection Process
The recruitment process will be conducted in accordance with “The High Court of Orissa (Appointment of Staff and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2019” (as amended). It will consist of the following stages:
- Preliminary Examination/Test (Qualifying):
- Duration: 2 hours
- Marks: 150
- Subjects: General English, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude
- Format: Objective type questions with multiple choice answers
- Negative Marking: 0.5 mark for each wrong answer
- Qualifying Marks:
- 33% for SC & ST category candidates
- 40% for other categories
- Main Written Examination:
- Duration: 5 hours
- Marks: 300
- Subjects:
- English (Essay, Précis writing, Translation, Retranslation, and Grammar) – Qualifying nature
- Minimum qualifying marks:
- 33% for SC & ST category candidates
- 45% for other categories
- Minimum qualifying marks:
- Mathematics (Arithmetic, Algebra, Mensuration, Statistics & Probability)
- General Awareness & Test of Reasoning (Current Affairs, National & International Events, etc.)
- English (Essay, Précis writing, Translation, Retranslation, and Grammar) – Qualifying nature
- Evaluation: Only candidates who qualify in the English section will have their other papers evaluated.
- Computer Application Test (Qualifying):
- Duration: 1 hour
- Marks: 100
- Format: Theory & Skill Test (details provided in the notification)
- Qualifying Marks: 50%
- Note: Marks obtained in this test will not be considered for the final merit list.
- Viva-Voce Test:
- Marks: 40
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40%
- Final Merit List: Based on the combined marks of the Main Written Examination and Viva-Voce Test.
