The Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has announced a change in the mode of examination for the posts of Livestock Inspector, Forester, and Forest Guard under the Combined Recruitment Examination (CRE)-2023 (II).
Earlier Announced OMR Based Exam Now Shifted to Computer Based Test (CBT)
Previously, the exam was planned to be conducted using the OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) system. However, in a recent notification, the OSSSC has decided to switch to the CBRE (Computer Based Recruitment Examination) mode.
Exam Dates and Admit Card Details
The written test will be held across the state from April 24, 2024, to May 7, 2024. Specific details about dates, venues, timings, and exam centers will be provided in the admit cards, which will be uploaded online 15 days before the exam. Candidates can download their admit cards by logging in to the OSSSC web portal (https://www.osssc.gov.in/) using their user ID and password.
All Other Terms and Conditions Remain Unchanged
The commission has clarified that except for the mode of examination being changed to CBRE, all other terms and conditions mentioned in the original advertisement remain the same.
